- you can go for like 1h lunch and they will still count cip hours :D

i just went here today :D quite fun, and interesting.
you get to meet alot of different ppl here.
for this one im not really sure how it works,
cause i only went there once and its not i sign up one...
i know Miss Zhong got volunteer there.

Your sister had a baby this morning but I haven't found out what it is yet, so I don't know if you're an aunt or an uncle. If the baby is a girl, your sister is going to name it after me, she's going to call it Mom.

Uncle Pete fell in a whiskey vat last week. Some man tried to pull him out but he fought them off and drowned. We had him cremated and he burned for three days.

Three of your friends went off a bridge in a pick-up truck. Ralph was driving. He rolled down the window and swam to safety. Your two friends were in the back. They drowned because they couldn't get the tailgate down.

today's post will have inpirational stories again.

The trust that chased away the cold
Tom opened a shop in England, Settle, North Yorkshire (wa.. the name super hard to translate... lol). The scenary in the town was quite beautiful, therefore there were lots of tourists, so Tom's bussiness was booming. In the shop, there were several workers besides himself.

Unknowingly, the annual Chirstmas arrived. Tom gave all of his workers a day off to spend with their friends and family, while he stayed in the shop, suddenly remembering that he had not been home for a long time. However, he did not want to cause dissapointment in the customers who could not buy their desired items on such a festive occasion, thus was in a dilema.

After pondering for a long time, Tom came up with a 'risky' plan. He decided, to leave the shop opened even after he leave for home. He placed a small bucket labelled "Honesty bucket", at the rim of the bucket, he sticked on a note reading:

Today is Christmas. I gave all the workers in the shop, including myself, a day off. Therefore, please choose your own desired items and put the payment into this bucket. Merry Christmas!

At 4, Tom went back to his shop. It was quiet. The shop was still how he left it - all the products are still placed neatly on the shelves. When he walked to the "honesty bucket", suprisingly, he found ₤187.66 in the bucket, together with a handful of notes. On those notes, are all the words of thanks from the customers, some thanking the boss for the trust he put in them, also thanking Tom for letting himself discover the beauty of this town; one is from a tourist from Mann, reading:

"Thank you Tom, although i don't know you, I am very happy, you made my day. You're amazing!"


Spread integrity, receive warmth while giving warmth, even the coldest winter would not defeat us!

《留下来的猴子》
一场大风刮过，山上的一片桃树林全被风刮倒了。
这可怎么办呀？
住在桃树林里的几只猴子，难过得哭了起来。
哭了一会儿，几只猴子一商量，它们要去找有桃树林的山坡安家。

只有一只猴子没走。
它的同伴叫了它好几次，它都不走，
说：“哪儿有桃树林呀？
我不走！我要把这些倒了的桃树扶起来，让他们活过来。

那几只猴子听了，摇摇头，走了。

留下来的这只猴子，把桃树一棵棵扶好，培土，浇水。

In Sec 4, the O'levels are nearing, self-study in morning, self-study at night. (the original version is Sec 3, cause in China secondary sch only have 3 years)After school there is still remedial, there is totally not enough sleep time for us,thus, there are many students who were late everyday.One day, I was late too, the reason is very simple: I did set an alarm, but after it rang, I pressed the snooze button and went back to sleep. Only when my mother woke me up in the morning did I know that I'm late for school.


In school, of course my form teacher asked me the reason for being late.After i told him the reason, he told me a solution to it:"From today onwards, put your alarm clock further away from you.So far that you have to walk a distance to reach it."


This method really works.From then on, I've never been late before.In the past, I just knew that my form teacher's way was very efficient,and didn't think too much into it.Now that I'm older, I understand how much meaning it has behind it.


The useof alarm clocks,is to remind us;some reminders, we heard and we did accordingly.But others, we heard but did not pay attention to it,slowly, it gets forgotten,therefore we will be late, break our promises, cause delay in work and make mistakes... Place your alarm clock further, signifying making this reminder's "capacity full", let the reminder play it's role, and never be late, never break promises, never delay work, never make mistakes...

Many of us often make plans, big and small,however, when we are to put it into practice,we have have that little bit of hesitance,or insignificant amount of temptation.Sometimes with this little effort,the oppurtunity pass us by,mistakes then come one after another. This is unrelated to your ability, intelligence and hardwork, but it often causes your downfall.

so i just translate what i can remember XD

Simple Question
The teacher asked the class a question: A boy was standing facing the north, and another was standing facing the south. How many mirrors are needed for them to be able to see each other?

All the students were puzzled by this weird question.
Some of them scribbled lines and lines of equations on the paper, while others were using mirrors to try out themselves. They gave answers like "infinte", "its impossible" and "i don't know" But the teacher told them all of them were right.

Teacher: Shall I tell you the answer?

All the students were very eager to find out the solution to this mystery, and noded their heads violently.

Teacher: The answer is: none.

Every one of the students were puzzled by the answer that the teacher gave, seeing that they still could not get it,

Teacher: If they are facing each other, of course they would not need any mirrors to see each other. I did say that the 2 boys were facing North and South respectively, but when did i ever say that they were facing their backs to each other?

Sometimes, the answer to the question is very simple,
but we tend to think too much into it and just burrow
ourselves in finding the difficult solution. Isn't this just like life? Many things are extremely simple,
but we just assume that all things are always hard
and ignore the presence of the simple answer.
